| Abstract: | The research into lead free DOP free PVC sheathing compounds that meet the requirements of UL 62 Flexible Cord and Fixture wire is presented. The matters to be attended to regarding the selection of PVC base resin, plasticizer, stabilizer, flame retardant, antioxidant, filler and colouring agent are discussed. So is the safety of the formulation. |
