The implementation of a data warehouse is the key to a successful CRM system. And that's why it focuses many hopeful eyes of the CRM developer. Based on the research background of designing a data warehouse in a CRM system for stock exchange, the technology of data warehouse and its characteristics are introduced here. On the basis of discussing the structure of the system, the design and implementation of a data warehouse was addressed. Then it comes the emphasizing of the three levels of modeling the data warehouse. Then determined the method of implementation of the OLAP. Several critical issues are concerned on the construction of data warehouse. Applying data analysis with the aid of DW is the key difference between CRM and normal database application.
