摘    要:本文简单介绍了在英国谢菲尔德大学进行的将废弃玻璃作为混凝土中水泥和/或骨料的替代材料生产实际预制混凝土制品的试验研究。这一研究项目被认为是迄今对废弃玻璃应用于实际混凝土产品中研究范围最为广泛的,共在全英各地的多个预制混凝土生产企业和一个预拌混凝土企业进行了19个工业性试验予项目,配制了98个实际玻璃混凝土产品,并对这些产品依据现有英国国家标准进行了产品适应性能和碱骨料反应测试。试验结果表明:(1)玻璃混凝土制品具有与对比混凝土相当的产品性能;(2)采用混凝土棱柱体法一年的碱骨料反应测试结果表明绝大部分产品的膨胀值接近干零,只有个别产品由于使用了高碱含量的水泥而导致膨胀。此外。还在试验室配制了大量的彩色玻璃混凝土样品并对其进行了酸蚀或抛光处理。

Abstract:This paper briefly reports what is believed to be the widest-ever study of the performance of crushed and ground glass in real concrete products as a replacement for cement and/or aggregate at the University of Sheffield,the UK. A total of 19 products(98 mixes) were manufactured in precast concrete factories and one ready-mix concrete company around the UK,and tested for compliance with type-testing to current British Standards,glass reactivity in alkali by the ASR test and advanced chemical analysis including SEM and XRD by major concrete companies,Glass Technology Services and Sheffield University. The major findings are:i) all products made with glass as aggregate and/or cement were found to have equivalent type-test results as products without glass and ii) after one year ASR test to the concrete prism method,dimensional test results indicate that detrimental reaction between the cement and glass only occurs when high-alkali Portland cement is used,whilst zero ASR expansion was observed for most of the products. Moreover,a number of acid-etched or polished colored glass concrete samples have been developed at laboratory level.
