| Abstract: | Two algorithms are introduced in this paper. The first algorithm deals with surface feature recognition on turned parts. Recognised features are then passed to the second algorithm for NC part program generation. These algorithms have been implemented on a microcomputer to process design/drawing data and prepare NC part programs. The results are satisfactory. |
