| 摘 要： | 该文探讨广东近代骑楼产生的环境背景因素，从中分析二十世纪初的城市改造运动及华侨所扮演的角色。并根据清末时期公益及台山船角圩等地的骑楼建设，推论近代骑楼初始发展的时间，以及造成骑楼建设快速结束的原因。

| Abstract: | The thesis discusses the environmental background of the origination of the arcade building of modern Canton, probes into the city innovation movement in the beginning of 20th century and the role of overseas Chinese. Through the research of the development of arcade building in Gongyi and Chuanjiaoxu at the end of Qing Dynasty, the thesis deduces the beginning time of the construction of modern arcade building, and the reason leading the rapid declination of arcade building. |
