Abstract:An analysis of high fault probability in circumferential welding seams in pressure vessels was carried out from the cause of design, the standard based on and the process of fabrication. Then, the method of protection against the faults is presented in this paper. The quality of the circumferential welding in pressure vessels must be paid full attention. This is the key point to guarantee the safety of the pressure vessels in operation.
