2005 EXPO-JAPAN"爱·地球博"之风景园林新领域

世博会的历史可以追溯到150年以前,每一次的风景园林设计都在其中大放光彩.但是,2005年的"爱·地球博"中风景园林设计所起到的作用,与以往的世博会完全不同.经过长达5年对环境的评估及其保全方法的探讨后,才正式确立了这些方案.配套于会场建设"3R"方针(Reduce,Reuse,Recycle)的造园设计、为了充分体现世博会主题"自然之睿智"而进行了会场用材的研发.在此之上,在"生物肺"和"日本庭园"等会场的重要设施中,提案、设计、施工监理、运营等处也考虑到了上述要点.这样的尝试是21世纪风景园林设计的前沿所在,预示了在科学技术领域中"生物模仿技术"和"生物应用技术"的重要地位,如果将这种技术运用到空间设计中,这样的空间会引导市民产生一种自我参与的共鸣.基于这种观点,"爱·地球博"会场设计概念定义为"从工业博览会到体验".

Landscaping frontiers at "Expo 2005 Aichi, Japan"

The pedigree of world expositions dates back to 150 years ago. Occasionally, landscape has brought some color to the expositions. However, the role that landscape design played at "Expo 2005 Aichi, Japan" altered dramatically, compared to previous world expositions. Environmental assessment and security precautions were carried out over five years. Preparations for the site plan for the venue were not buried beneath the highly detailed security precautions. Designs for the garden construction system respected the key principles of the site construction, "3R - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle", and material development for the landscaping of the site clearly reflected the theme of "Expo 2005 Aichi, Japan" "Nature's Wisdom" - and the presentations utilizing it. Furthermore, there were proposals, designs, construction surveillance and management of core facilities throughout the venue, such as the "Bio Lung" and "Japanese Garden". Such attempts originated from the conviction that the frontier of landscaping in the 21st century is positioned with "biological emulation technology" and "biological application technology" in the scientific technology area, and if it is embodied into a space, it is desirable that the space strike a chord with visiting citizens, who would spontaneously experience a sense of participation. This is the reason why the concept of the site presentation for "Expo 2005 Aichi, Japan", from Exposition to Experience", also reflects such a viewpoint.
