Abstract: | An analytical solution of the problem on steady motion of a viscous incompressible fluid in a circular pipe has been obtained with regard for the action of Coriolis forces. It is shown that the rotation of the coordinate system as a result of the destruction of the laminar regime of flow and the appearance of a partially nonuniform three-dimensional vortex flow on its basis lead to an increase in the hydrodynamic drag of the pipe. |
