Abstract: | The problem of determination of weights for a continuum limit, deterministic network of threshold logic units is considered. The result is a set of integral equations which provide as their solution the optimum set of weights. Also considered is the determination of the set of eigenstates of a special, nonhierarchical, infinite network. The novel techniques employed are the calculus of variations, functional expressions, and Wick's theorem of quantum mechanics. |
