Abstract: | A new technique for handling fuzzy decision-making problems concerning two kinds of uncertainty is introduced, which supplies a more efficient tool for the building of some expert systems. It uses a similarity measure of fuzzy sets and threshold to determine whether a rule should be fired, and a modification function MF is used to modify the deduced consequent. The strength of confirmation CF of every production rule, which is given by a system or experts, is different and is used to modify the consequent once more. Finally, an efficient algorithm is proposed and some numerical examples are presented. |
