| Abstract: | The present paper analyzes the problem concerning the irregularity of the cutting section of a billet and finds out that the primary affecting factor is the improper pro-portioning between gas and oxygen leading frequently to blockage of the cutting nozzle. The leveling of the cutting section of the billet has been greatly improved since adoption of a few counter measures. |
