Study on the Protective Method of Historical and Cultural Streets in Chongqing

As the high speed urbanization of Chongqing, a lot of precious historical and cultural resources in Chongqing are facing a huge existence crisis. Taking the planning of historical and cultural street protection as an example, the article discussed how to integrate the street area protection method, building protection method, style protection method and the characteristic resources protection with the establishment and coordination of planning. The author hoped that it can protect effectively the historical and cultural characteristic resources in Chongqing and promote the development of historical and cultural famous city protection through the development and improvement of the protective method.
