| Abstract: | The principle and method of measurement for machined surface roughness by optical scatter- ing using the optical fibre are presented in this paper, and some kinds of method are compared with each other by experiment, meanwhile the feasibilities of every kind of method are analyzed in theory. On the basis of it, according to the influences of the cutting liquid of the machined surface and different materials, a new kind of method is put farward, comparing measurement method using the standard sample plate. With this method, the two influences mentioned above could be eliminated and effective way for the on-line measurement for machined surface roughness is advanced. |
