| Abstract: | The possibility of visualizing the fine structure of optical inhomogeneities in gas and condensed fluids by Hilbert optics methods is discussed. Application of optical Hilbert filtering for investigating shock waves and dynamic perturbations induced by the waves in gas is described. |
