| Abstract: | Genetic Algorithms(GA) is a new evolutionary process.It is a mathematic programming method by simulating the process of natural evolution to randomly search for the optimal solution.The principles of genetic algorithms and some parameters in optimal design of water distribution system are explained in this paper.A case study concerning expansion of existing water distribution network is given. |
