| Abstract: | The major diameter measurement of giant workpieces is atechnique which has not been well solved in the world. This paper introduces not only one kind of numerical display major diameter measurement device which was designed and made by the authors, but also anew principle and method of asingle-coordinate and double measure points" measurement. The device has been used in a factory and appraisedby the Tianjin Science and Technology Committee. The result showsthat measure precision of the device is up to IT6 of the state requiremeent. |
