Abstract: | With the increasing penetration of the photovoltaic (PV) power generation system into the grid, the problems of the power of the PV power generation system into the grid and the PV electricity curtailment, which are caused by the uncertainty and intermittence of the PV power generation system have attracted attention. However, the "PV + energy storage" mode can effectively alleviate these problems. Taking the battery capacity degradation characteristics and the PV electricity curtailment into consideration, this paper simulates the operation of the system composed of the different PV power generation subsystem with the distinct types batteries, aiming to eliminate the impacts of the fluctuation characteristics of PV power generation on the grid. What's more, this work studies the operation strategy of the distributed energy storage system under the output smoothing scenario, and optimizes the operation of each energy storage battery array in the energy storage system. Finally, a practical case study of 20 MW (peak value) multiple types battery energy storage system in Republic area is used to verify the simulation method. |
