"精明增长"策略与我国的城市空间扩展

在较为系统地阐述目前国外广泛研究的"城市蔓延"("Urban Sprawl")和与之相对的城市"精明增长"("Smart Growth"Policy)的基础上,提出目前我国城市空间增长具有"城市蔓延"趋势这一基本判断,呼吁借鉴国外应对"城市蔓延"所采用的"精明增长"战略,为制定更为科学合理的城市规划进行理念更新.

Smart Growth Policy and Urban Spatial Expansion in China

During the period of rapid urbanization, there are some 'unhealthy' patterns of urban spatial expansion, such as outward, extensive and road-led expansion. These perhaps will lead to "Urban Sprawl" , which many western developed cities have been suffered from before. Based on systematic e laboration of "Urban Sprawl" and its contradictory, "Smart Growth" policy, which are research focus overseas, the paper concludes that current urban growth in China is sprawl-oriented. Adoption of "Smart Growth" policy in the period of urban development in China is appealed in this paper. The idea of urban planning and growth should be developed based on "Smart Growth" policy.
