Analysis on Implementing Approaches of Green Design in Household Appliances Enterprises

Recently, with the quick development of science and technology as well as the enhancement of human's living standard, more requirements of green performances of household appliances are needed. In the international market, the directives of WEEE, RoHS and EuP carried out in EU have become a green bulwark in exportation of our domestic household appliances. Therefore, domestic house- hold appliances enterprises not only have to face the great pressure from market and society, but also shoulder the even greater pressure from the furious competition in the international market. Many facts have proved that it is an effective way to carry out approaches in the initial stage of products, namely the design stage. In this paper, how the household appliances enterprises implement green design is presented and analyzed in details.
