| Abstract: | It analyses the paging-carrying capacity of the Um interface and the Abis interface of the GSM network. The restriction on traffic in a LAC area caused by the paging-carrying capacity is discussed. Examples are presented to demonstrate the characteristics of burst paging, and some strategies are brought up to solve the problem. |
