An Engagement Equation about Gear Backlash |

| Abstract: | In this article, through studying the gear engagement course and with reference of other information, the authors analyse the relation between the operating pressure angle, the backlash, the center distance and the modulus. And a now engagement equation considering the backlash is presented which makes the calculation about the gears simple and clear. |
