| Abstract: | In this paper, different ways of dealing with subroutine calls (SCs) on a register-to-register computer and a stack-to-stack computer are analysed. Implementation principles of SCs on Cray-1-like computers are examined. Finally, we propose an implementation method of using stacks to handle these calls on a general-purpose Cray-1-like register-to-register prototype. |
