| Abstract: | Liquid crystal grating's operational principle and two types grating: liquid crystal grating and liquid crystal/polymer grating's structure and manufacture are briefly described, their excellency and defect and theirs application in optical fields are analyzed. Finally, the prospects of application in space optical communication is presented. |
