Application of Cased-Hole Formation Resistivity Log in Erlian Oilfield

The CHFR technique is a good way to monitor the remaining oil in the middle-last exploitation period. The technique is used in Erlian oilfield with low porosity, low permeability, low oil saturation and low salinity formation. This paper analyzes and studies the control of logging quality and the elements affecting log and log explanation. It points out that this technique has some shortages and excellences, It is worthapplying in Erlian oilfield with large scope and can gain a good application effect. We hope it will provide some useful log interpretation experiences for other oilfields at the same time.
