| Abstract: | The spin exchange and chemi-ionization cross sections for the metastable helium atom-lithium atom in the ground state system have been calculated. Using data on the interaction potentials obtained in this study, the spin exchange cross sections are determined for the first time for the He(23 S 1)-Li(22 S 1/2) system in the interval of collision energies from 5 × 10?3 to 16 eV. |
