| Abstract: | It has been found that p-toluenesulfonic acid was superior to H2SO4 when used as catalyst for esterification of butyl alcohol with adipic acid.The optimum reaction conditions in synthesis of dibutyl adipate catalyzed with p-toluenesulfonic acid were determined,with the yield at 95.17%. |
