Market Externality and Tackling Measures

Western economics takes market externality as an important field of study and regards it as one of the basic phenomena of market defect. In the society of modern market economy, the government should have the functions of protecting environment and correcting market deviations. Developed countries pay great attention to the tackling of externality and have produced a good social effect. This article suggests that Chinese government, in the course of developing socialist market economy and on the basis of the developing law of social economy, should fully play its role in solving external uneconomic problem.
