| Abstract: | The various line transmission media, including open wires, symmetrical pair cables, coaxial cables, and optical fiber cable, that are used in the different regions of China are described. Both analog transmission systems and the newer digital transmission systems are discussed. The standardized physical transmission media deployed throughout China-symmetrical pair cables, coaxial cables, and optical fiber cables-are also discussed |
