| Abstract: | The present paper described 4 modified internal combustion type hot blast stoves which were rebuilt in the new site in the volumetric enlargement of No.1 BF at Baotou Iron & Steel Corp. To ensure high blast temperature as well as long service life of the hot blast stoves a number of advanced application techniques have been adopted in the design. |
