| Abstract: | A solution containing manganous sulfate and manganous dithionate was prepared from low grade pyrolusite by sulfur dioxide process. Manganous sulfate of industrial grade was obtained by purification, removal of impurities, concentration of the solution and crystallication. Manganous carbonate can be yielded by treatment of the mother liquor with ammonium acid carbonate. |
