| Abstract: | This paper reviews the progress in the development of the Schottky-barrier infrared focal plane arrays (SB-IRFPA)technology. The SB-IRFPAs have a series of unigue features. Their development is the quickest among all kinds of IRFPA's. Here the features, structures, operation mechanism, progresses in SWIR, MWIR and LWIR arrays, effective methods used for improving their quantum efficiencies and future tendency of he development of the SB-IRFPA's technology are reviewed. |
