| Abstract: | The model for a linear system with renewal capability presented by Ratner and Luenberger [1] is investigated. An algorithm is given for determining a region over which immediate renewal is the optimal policy. The optimal feedback gains are given for system operation with immediate renewal. A scalar example illustrates the utilization of the algorithm. |
