Abstract:Rh catalysts with rare earth elements as promoters were evaluated by CO H 2 reaction for synthesis of C 2 oxygenates and characterized by TPR,H 2 TPD and uptakes of CO and hydrogen. The results indicated that addition of rare earth elements obviously improved the activity and selectivity of the catalysts for synthesis of C 2 oxygenates from CO and H 2.The increase of activity and selectivity to C 2 oxygenates of the catalysts were correlated with the results of characterization.
