| Abstract: | This brief case study describes the problems encountered by GlaxoSmithKline with the polytetrafluoroethylene seals that were fitted on machines that filled tubes with the anti-viral cream Zovirax. These problems were solved by using a hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane elastomer seal. |
