太原晋祠

晋祠位于太原西南五十华里，历史悠久，始建年代无从考证。圣母殿为该寺最雄伟的一座大殿，它与其他建筑构成庙观内主要的中轴线。圣母殿由外形上看，殿基柱额，是龙蟠螭绕，琉璃瓦顶吻兽相望，是极为华丽的一座大殿。殿内上下檐皆施斗栱。因位置及功用不同，结构各异。殿内装修虽经过历代重修仍保持古老的手法。塑像更具艺术价值。

Memorial Temple of Jinci at Taiyuan

Jinci temple has a long history, located in the southwest of Taiyuan 50 li. Its construction time can not be verified. Shengmu hall is the temple''s most majestic hall, and other buildings constitute the temple view of the main axis. The feature of the hall is that the eaves of the temple are set with bucket archs, and the eave columns are surrounded by dragons on all sides. The interior decoration through successive dynasties to maintain the ancient techniques, and the statues are of great artistic value.
