亭史综述

亭是一种常见的小型古建筑形式，在风景园林中，更是一种不可缺少的景观建筑。在中国，亭出现的很早，可上朔至商周时期。随着时间的推移，亭的功能和形式逐渐地发生了很大的变化。亭的性质的演变，大致可以以魏晋南北朝为界，秦汉以前与隋唐以后的亭，在功能和形式上都不尽相同。汉以前，亭的实用价值高于观赏价值。而隋唐以后，观赏价值则又渐渐地超过了实用价值。随着时代的变迁，亭的建筑形象也产生了变异，早先的亭，与现在的亭已是完全不同的两个概念了。
