从巴黎、伦敦到北京--60年的同与异

回顾国内外新城建设的主要历史和相关理论,比较了巴黎、伦敦、北京的城市尺度与历史沿革,新城建设的背景、过程和经验教训,并对三个城市新城建设的规律性和北京新城建设的特殊性进行了讨论。虽然三个城市存在着一些差异,但是在特定阶段上城市空间面临的任务和可供选择的模式有很大的相似性。巴黎和伦敦的新城规划建设对北京在政府干预的方式、规划方案的制定、区域协调等方面有重要的启示。

FROM PARIS, LONDON TO BEIJING: 60 YEARS' SIMILARITIES AND DIVERSITIES

Reviewing the history and theories ofnew town construction (NTC), this paper comparedthe background, experience and performance of NTCsof London, Paris and Beijing. Similarities and diversi-ties of the NTCs among the three mega cities areanalyzed. The authors believe that multi-center is abetter spatial structure for almost all mega cities, whichmeans a strong city core and a spectrum of new townsconnected by transportation and functions. Becauseof its particularities, Beijing has more challenges andchances to construct the new town system.
