摘    要:介绍了低功率通用离线电源的脉宽调制电流模式控制器NCP1203的工作原理及其优点,同时结合电路,指出了在实际应用中出现的问题和解决办法。NCP1203为电源设计人员提供符合美国能源之星(EnergyStar)和欧洲蓝天使(BlueAngel)等待机能耗规定的最优化低成本解决方案,电流尖峰可由用户编程设置,输出驱动性能为250mA,同时在轻载下提供功效极高的跳频(skip-cycle)模式。NCP1203可为众多终端产品设计提供尽可能低的待机能耗。

Abstract:The operation principles and features of NCP1203 PWM currentmode controller for universal offline supplies featuring low standby and short circuit protection are introduced in this paper. At the same time,the problems arising in practice are solved according the circuit.NCP1203 provides a lower cost of power management solutions meeting power consumption specification such as Energy Star and Blue Angel for power supply designers.The peak current point is set by users.The NCP1203 also provides the high efficiency skipcycle mode in lightload conditions and offers excellent performance in standby conditions for many applications of the end products.
