| Abstract: | The manufacturing of metal spiral cases for the left powerhouse at the Three Gorges project is characterized by its huge geometrical dimensions, high quality requirements and difficulties in manufacturing. The quality parameters for the spiral cases have been effectively controlled and 8 sets have been delivered successfully, as a result of integrated quality control by the owner, the supervisory engineers and the manufacturer. |
