基于覆盖条件下的GSM/WCDMA共址组网可行性分析

对于电信运营商而言，基站进小区选址的难度已远远大于2G建网之时，而有关运营商已有庞大的GSM网络，能否利用现有的2G站址和机房，实现机房、站址、传输资源共享，是电信运营商面临的主要现实问题之一。本文基于GSM／WCDMA技术特点，以密集城区为例通过2种方式对GSM和WCDMA网络的覆盖进行分析，探讨了海南联通GSM和WCDMA基站共址的可行性。

Analysis on the Feasibility of GSM/WCDMA Co-site Based on Coverage

For the operators, now it is much more difficult to acquire a site than before. The operators in China have a large-scale GSM network, how to use them to share the equipment room, site, and transmission resource, need attention. Based on the characteristics of GSM/WCDMA, it takes the dense urban area as example to analyze GSM and WCDMA network coverage in two ways, discusses the feasibility on GSM and WCDMA co-site of China Unicom Hainan Branch.
