| 摘 要： | 诺曼·福斯特说：“我热爱飞行，喜欢那种操纵精密仪器俯瞰世界的感觉。我拥有一架747飞机，经常开着它到世界各地。我也喜欢到处旅行，带着素描本走世界，记录灵感。因此，我喜欢设计飞机场，飞机场对于一个喜欢飞行，喜欢旅行的人而言意味着什么？它是一个转换心情的地方。所以我的飞机场设计选用自然光，让人心情愉快”。年轻时，诺曼·福斯特曾在英国皇家空军服役，或许正是这段经历致使他后来迷恋上飞机场设计，开始了将轻量级的技术和材料融入笨重建筑的种种实践。

| Abstract: | The airport is a gateway to Beijing and to China.It is a symbol of place.At the same time it also celebrates the thrill and poetry of flight .The building will be friendly.uplifting and easy to navigate.Although conceived on an unprecedented scale,it will be welcoming and very much of the place-symbolic of Beijing and China;modern but with traditional references. |
