| Abstract: | Based on the design made for Dantu Experimental School,Zhenjiang city,the paper re-views the authors' experience in applying the theories of architectural planning to the design prac-tice of middle and elementary schools.The paper contains four aspects--the rational framework of cognitive environment,the expansion of interactive space for extracurricular activities,the cultural pluralism of campus buildings,and the cultural role showed by the architectural environment of campus buildings. |
