| Abstract: | Billets for rolling are reheated with a solid base continuous reheating furnace, in which a pair o f pipes made of heat-resistant material serve as the longitudinal tracks, thus no water cooling for the tracks being needed. Energy saving resulting from the elimination of water cooling. and profit improving due to the saving are thus realized. |
