Abstract:In response to the demand for soundscape design in virtual reality movies,this paper proposes a film-based soundscape index algorithm based on ecological acoustics to compensate for the lack of objective quantitative indicators in traditional solutions to assist designers in accurately grasping the proportion of each element in the soundscape.First,the soundscape elements of film sound were divided into biophonic region,anthrophonic region and geophonic region according to their characteristics.Secondly,based on the classification,an algorithm for quantifying the ratio of anthrophonic region to biophonic region,the biological activity in this landscape,and the ratio of the geophonic region in the application scenario of film soundscape reconstruction was proposed.The final calculated results were compared with the objective actual situation and subjective evaluation results.The experimental results show that the soundscape index calculated by this algorithm is in line with the objective situation,and matches the subjective feelings of most audio designers.The algorithm data results are reliable,and it can assist the production of sound and sound scenes in virtual reality movies.
