PATTERN-BASED CHINESE HYPERNYM-HYPONYM RELATION EXTRACTION METHOD

Pattern-based hypernym-hyponym relation extraction is an important method to automatically obtain hypernym-hyponym relation.Nowadays,there are two kinds of patterns,but there is still a lack of performance comparison between the two patterns.To solve this problem,this paper proposes the matching extraction and high-quality manual annotation of large-scale corpus to objectively compare and evaluate the two patterns,which provides a solid foundation for automatic acquisition of hypernym-hyponym relation.Aimed at four mainstream sentence structures that imply hypernym-hyponym relation,matching extraction was carried out on 38 million Chinese sentences,and 2800 randomly selected hypernym-hyponym candidates were manually labeled.The experimental results show that the accuracy of the dependency pattern is 9.07 percentage points higher than that of the lexical pattern,while the recall is slightly lower by 0.32 percentage points.
