浅析专科英语和本科英语教学的异同点

摘    要:从专科英语教学基本要求、本科英语教学大纲、各自的教学现状及教学改革要求三方面分析两之间的异同点,提出了在专科和本科英语教学中均要改革原先的英语教学安排,增开英语应用课程,传授正确的英语学习方法,并结合教学内容传授处世之道;在本科教学中专门安排口语学时,用于增强口语训练,并设法结合计算机网络知识加强学生的英语写作训练;专科英语教学应突出应用性特点,鼓励学生积极参与,选择实用性范加以背育和模仿,逐步提高应用能力。

Abstract:In this paper, the similarities and differences between college English teach-ing and junior college English teaching are analyzed, based on the Basic Requirements of Junior College English Teaching, College English Syllabus and the present teaching sit-uations as well as the educational reform requirements. It is proposed in the paper that the original teaching arrangements for both junior college English and college English be transformed,applied English courses be additionally offered, and more attention be paid to teaching students the right way of English learning and the way of life, which is cov-ered in the teaching material. It is also suggested in the paper that for the college Eng-lish teaching, special teaching periods be arranged for oral practice to enhance the oral drilling and find the way to strengthen the English writing drilling in the application of the knowledge of computer network. For the junior college English teaching, the stress should be put on practice as well as the studentsactive participation. Some practical model essays should be chosen for the students to recite and imitate to gradually improve their competence in application.
