| Abstract: | Low density and low FAR may result in low vitality in new cities.Channeling of population and industries to new cities from old cities will be inhibited if they are too close.Guiyang Huanguoyuan new city is compact high density and experienced new organism,sewing new and old space,economic improvement developmental periods.It deals with the paradox of compact land use and livability from city boundary,land use,transportation,landscape creation etc.A suitable population density will guarantee its vitality. |
