IPT颜色空间均匀性的研究

摘    要:针对当前图像色貌模型中使用的IPT颜色空间,采用视觉均匀的Munsell颜色体系,分别从明度、彩度和色相等三方面对其均匀性进行了评价,提出了样品决定系数(R2)、均方根误差(RMSE)等相应的评价指标.结果表明:在明度方面,IPT颜色空间与CIELAB颜色空间同样具有良好的均匀性;在彩度方面,IPT颜色空间的彩度均匀性不如CIELAB颜色空间;在色相方面,R、YR、Y、GY、G、BG、B颜色区域的均匀性要比在CIELAB颜色空间稍好一些,是一个较为理想的色彩空间.

Abstract:The uniformity is an important aspect for evaluating the quality of a color space and has an important impact on the accuracy of the effect evaluation of gamut mapping, color difference and color reproduction. For the IPT color space that current image color appear- ance model uses, the uniformity of IPT is evaluated by lightness, chroma and hue using the Munsell Color System. The sample coefficient of determination (R2), the root-mean-square error (RMSE) and other appropriate indicators are given. The result shows that IPT and CIELAB have a similar result aspect of lightness; in chroma, the IPT color space is poor than CIELAB color space;but in hue, the IPT is better, especially from YR to BG. The IPT color space is the better one.
