Abstract:Vector map layer is one of the key technology for developing automatization system of command. Some GIS tools can carry out the function. In this paper we discuss the application of MapX control in automatization of martial command in Visual Basic environment. By this way, we can develop the system of with vector map layer easily, and process of development is simple, we can expediently operate it. The effect of vector map based on MapX control is good. This kind of system can offer users many functions such as army deploying dynamically on the map, data searching in complex conditions, caculating the strength of army, commanding dynamically etc.
