LTE Deployment and Operation Strategy in Mobile Internet Era

The traditional telecom service is being eroded by the proliferation of the mobile internet applications. It is inevitable to study on how to deal with the explosive growth of the mobile data traffic and the challenge from OTT applications when operators deploy LTE. This paper describes the advantages of the LTE technology and its service capability, and analyzes the LTE network＇s challenges from OTT in detail. The countermeasures have also been proposed from the network planning and deployment perspectives. Finally, it explores the operating model based on the optimized LTE network.
